Paths & Walkways

In a residential landscape design circulation is the most important element. Without good circulation even a beautiful design is not functional. In most cases we like to use a material that contrast well with the material of the main gathering spaces, to set the circulation apart. Many times a simple gravel path works well, and others a solid stone material is more appropriate. Walkways are often an excellent way to emphasize the form of a design by allowing the use of broad curves or long straight lines.
